Kikusui PBZ Serie - BiPolare / 4 Quadranten Netzgeräte

     

Mit der PBZ Netzgeräte Serie bietet Kikusui zwei sehr kompakt bauende, vollwertige 4 Quadranten Netzgeräte an. Es stehen zwei Modelle mit je 400W Ausgangsleistung (+/-20V; +/-20A oder +/-40V; +/-10A) zur Verfügung. Die Leistung kann durch parallelen Betrieb zweier Geräte auf 800W erhöht werden.

Der 4 Quadrantenbetrieb erlaubt das Netzgerät sowohl als Quelle (Source) als auch als Last (Sink) zu betreiben. Der Betrieb an stark induktiven oder stark kapazitiven Lasten ist kein Problem.

Neben den Eigenschaften als BiPolares Netzgerät bietet die PBZ Serie zusätzlich einen eingebauten, schnellen Arbiträrgenerator mit dem frei programmierbare Kurvenformen abgefahren werden können. Ein einfach zu handhabender Sequenzer erlaubt die Erstellung von besonders komplexen Kurvenabläufen.

  The Kikusui PWR Series offers constant voltage (CV)/constant current (CC) automatic crossover DC power supplies that enable you to combine a wide range of voltages and currents within the output power rating. For example, the model that has an output power rating of 1600W (PWR1600L) provides a seamless operation range from 80 V - 20 A to 16V - 100A. With a single PWR Series power supply alone, you can cover an extensive output range equivalent to what is provided by three to six conventional single range DC power supplies. L type can output up to 160% of the output current rating (in the continuous and intermittent extended operation areas). Kikusui PWR1600L supports a maximum output of 10 V - 160 A.
     

   

Kikusui PAS Series

     

The Kikusui PAS Series consists of sophisticated variable-switching DC power supplies that refine and add to the advances of our conventional Kikusui PAK-A Series. While the cabinet size remains unchanged from conventional models, the Kikusui PAS Series incorporates a high-efficiency switching circuit and a power-factor correction circuit to meet the needs of today's users. Provided with Kikusui-developed digital communication functions (TP-BUS: Twist Pair Bus) as standard equipment, this Series can handle power supply systems ranging from small scale (two units) to large scale systems (up to 448 channels in combination with power supply controllers of the Kikusui PIA4800 Series via GPIB) at low cost. The distance between the controller and power supplies can be extended up to 200 m for use in applications such as plant power supply control from the PC at office.

Kikusui PMR Series

     

The Kikusui PMR Series is a multi-output, constant voltage/constant current regulated DC power supply with a dual-tracking function. It uses a Series regulator system to generate stable outputs with low noise. Moreover, it is compatible with various external controls. For GPIB control (in combination with an optionally available Kikusui PIA4830), it is provided with the TP-BUS that allows a system to be built by simple connections. Also, a growing number of users with a need for multiple-output power units and easy channel reconfiguration are calling for plug-in type electronic loads that can be easily configured to support multiple channels. The advent of an electronic load system that satisfies all these needs has been long awaited. It was against this background that we developed the Kikusui PLZ-U Series of electronic loads.

The Kikusui PLZ-U Series of compact and high-performance modular electronic loads is capable of operating in five modes: constant current, constant resistance, constant voltage, constant current + constant voltage, and constant resistance + constant voltage.

 

The load system consists of load modules and a frame. The load modules are inserted into the frame that also serves as a control unit. The Kikusui PLZ-30F frame can accommodate up to three load modules, while the Kikusui PLZ-50F frame can accommodate up to five. The load modules can be operated in parallel, so that the current capacity or power capacity can be changed easily, from 75 to 750 watts*1, as needed for the device under test. In addition to offering high-speed response at a maximum slew rate of 2.4 A/ µs*2 and a minimum setting resolution of 10 µ A*3, the system features a variety of functions including soft start, variable slew rate, a switching function, ABC preset memory function, four setup memories, and a sequence function. What's more, timer functions combined with time/voltage measurement functions allow you to measure battery discharge characteristics.

For communication, the system is provided with GPIB and Kikusui RS-232C interfaces as standard. Both interfaces support IEEE 488.2 as well as the Standard Commands for Programmable Instruments (SCPI) commands, developed for testing and measuring instruments.

PCZ1000A is an AC electronic load that enables you to perform load simulation for various inverters and transformers. In addition to the resistive loads generally used in tests, it is capable of simulating capacitor-input rectifier loads.

The Kikusui PIA4810 is a power supply controller capable of analog and digital control. It is equipped with the GPIB and RS-232C interfaces and 4 slots, which allow 4 each of PIA4800 Series-specific control boards to be installed. A control board is capable of analog control of 2 channels of DC power supplies or electronic loads; a total of 8 channels can be controlled.

Moreover, DC power supplies with a digital remote-control function, such as the Kikusui PAS, PAM(*1) and PMR Series, can be directly connected to the PIA4830 via a TP-BUS (twisted pair bus), enabling a system up to 32 channels to be controlled digitally.

 

Kikusui PIA4820 is an expansion unit that can be connected to the Kikusui PIA4810 or Kikusui PIA4830 via a TP-BUS to provide additional control channels. In the same way as the Kikusui PIA4810, it allows a maximum of 4 control boards to be installed.
Then it is possible to use up to 3 units of Kikusui PIA4820 as an expansion that can be connected to the PIA4810 via the TP-BUS, the system is capable of controlling a maximum of 32 channels. Moreover, the combined use of the GPIB and TP-BUS allows the system to control a maximum of 448 channels.
Kikusui PIA4830 is a power supply controller only for digital control. It is capable of digitally controlling a system up to 32 channels of such Kikusui PAS, PAM(*1) and Kikusui PMR Series DC power supplies via the TP-BUS.
OP01-PIA and OP02-PIA are control boards designed exclusively for the Kikusui PIA4810 and Kikusui PIA4820.

A single control board is capable of analog control of 2 channels of DC power supplies or electronic loads. The OP01-PIA is a full-control board with voltage and current setting and read-back functions, while the OP02-PIA4800 has only the voltage and current setting feature.

The impedance meter Kikusui KFM2005 is designed for testing of the fuel cell with the small current (5 A or less), and not only the current-voltage characteristic test, the Kikusui KFM2005 can easily measure for the impedance of a fuel cell using the AC impedance method, and the Cole-Cole plot. Using the measurement data of the Cole-cole plot, it is possible to calculate the circuit constant of the approximate equivalent circuit of the fuel cell. The built-in DC load (60W) is capable to operate from 0 V, and it can perform the test for the fuel cell up to 20V and 5A.

The impedance meter Kikusui KFM2030 is intended to enable the impedance characteristics of a fuel cell to be measured easily through the use of the AC impedance measurement method.
Using the application software that comes with it, the meter can obtain impedance values at different frequencies by means of AC impedance measurement and display the obtained values in a Cole-Cole plot. With a low-power DC load (60 W) built in it, Kikusui KFM2030 supports fuel cell load testing at up to 20 V, at up to 30 A.

The TOS9200 Series has been developed to meet a wide diversity of customer needs. Including the refinement and enforcement of Kikusui's former Series, its specifications reflect the results of detailed study of our large database of user's requirements including special orders and modifying specifications.
The TOS9200 Series consists of four products the testers TOS9200 and TOS9201, and the high-voltage scanners TOS9221 and TOS9220.
The TOS9200 is equipped with AC withstanding voltage and insulation resistance testing functions, while the TOS9201 has a DC hipot testing function in addition to these two functions. The power block, a core component, employs a high-efficiency switching power supply and a switching amplifier based on PWM systems. These features realize high power and enhanced stability, as well as reducing the size and weight of the unit. When combined with the earth continuity tester TOS6200, the TOS9200 Series integrates three or four types of tests in a single process. Furthermore, when used together with the high-voltage scanner TOS9220/9221 (equipped with a contact check function), the tester is capable of automatically checking test points for up to 16 channels, thereby facilitating a safe, reliable automatic testing system.

The TOS8870A is a combination of a withstanding voltage tester and an insulation resistance tester, and it is capable of performing Withstanding Voltage Test and Insulation Resistance Test in one continuous process. (Choice of setting arrangement: AUTO AC to IR, AUTO IR to ACW, MANU.ACW, MANU.IR.)

The TOS5101 is designed exclusively for hipot testing of electronic equipment and components conforming to various safety standards. The use of a high luminance, large fluorescent display tube for the display enables data including measured values, status and judgment results to be extremely legible. The Pass/fail function employs a window comparator method that enables TOS5101 to make fail judgment of current leakage over the upper reference value and below the lower reference value which can be set on the front panel.
Thus, highly reliable testing can be performed including that for test lead disconnection and defective contact. In addition, in order to prevent erroneous operation and accidents, the TOS5101 is also equipped with a Key Lock function and Interlock function, a high-voltage output terminal having a narrowed insertion port, a large DANGER lamp, and an automatic discharge function (during DC operation) that removes charge from the test piece. The TOS5052 is a special tester designed for hipot testing of electronic equipment and components conforming to various official safety standards. In addition to having an output of 5 kV AC at 100 mA, this model permits output voltage presetting, selection of output frequency (50 or 60 Hz), and rise-time control to control time for voltage to reach a preset level.

The TOS6200 tester is designed to perform the ground bond tests required for class-I devices by safety standards such as IEC, EN, VDE, BS, UL, JIS, and the Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Low (Japan).
Equipped with a new high-efficiency power supply, it is compact and lightweight, about half the size and weight of our conventional products, while achieving a large output of 150 VA.
Use of the constant current method eliminates the need to reset test currents even in the face of fluctuating resistance values for the device being tested. The test duration can also be set from 0.3 s, making the tester suitable for production line testing, which requires reduced cycle time.
This tester is also designed for ease of use, featuring a large, easy-to-read display, memory capacity for

 

storage of 100 types of test conditions, and incorporation of test conditions into programs to enable automatic testing. Standard GPIB and RS-232C interfaces allow the user to use PCs or other devices to control test conditions such as test current, resistance value for judgement, and test duration, and enables read-back of measured values and test results.
The tester is also provided with test leads as standard and provides high cost effectiveness.

The Leakage Current Tester TOS3200 is designed to perform leakage current (touch current and protective conductor current) tests on general electrical equipment but not medical electrical equipment.

The digital power meter, KPM1000, is a measuring instrument that measures the single phase power applied to the extended range from the small consumption such as a standby power to the large scale consumption of power. Through the years, each region of the world has been putting their effort to establish the regulation related to the ecological design such as "ErP Directive" in Europe, "Energy Star" in the US, "Top Runner Method" in Japan, and those standards are widely used by commercial companies while taking advantage from other products as well as an effort to the environment issues. In the "ErP Directive Lot6", it applies to the

 

standby power consumption (classifi ed in the "Off-mode" and "Standby mode") of home appliances, and office equipments, and it is required to issue the declaration of conformity for the CE marking.

The KPM1000 complies to the standard of IEC62301 (Household electrical appliances - Measurement of standby power) and it is capable to measure the standby power consumption required by the "ErP Directive Lot6". The KPM1000 is a compact , light-weight, low price, and capable to operate with the optional interface (some interfaces are available in factory option). The KPM1000 comes in handy for measuring the power of equipments, and it can be used as an essential device for the test system.
